The Difference Between W.E.D.
Personal Narrative
“Calm down!” I yelled pulling on the reins. The horse came to a striking stop. I heard a loud scream and I looked back. Suddenly, I realized Elise had taken a tumbling fall to the ground. Then, I imminently jumped off the horse and scurried over to her. I helped her get to her feet, right away I could tell she had her breath knocked out of her. I desperately tried to help her on the horse, but failed.
I was trying to push her up on the horse , but she fell right on top of me. Crashing towards the ground, I heard running. Suddenly, I sat up and looked around, the horse vanished. Then, I jumped to my feet and looked around for the horse. She was nowhere to be seen.
I kept looking around, my eyes suddenly landed on Elise. Shockingly I watched as she struggled to get to her feet , but she managed to stand up. I ran over to her helping her. “The horse ran away..”I said. She looked at me for a couple seconds, “We have to go find her…” she said. We searched for what seemed like hours but was probably just 30 minutes.
Suddenly, we came across a big open field. “There she is!” I whispered. I slowly picked up a handful of grass, opening my hand. “Here girl.” I said slowly approaching her. She gave me a good long stare. It felt like hours before she gave me a kind gentle look of trust.
She slowly walked towards me. She nibbled at the grass laying in the palm of my hand. Not wasting any time, I quickly grabbed the reins. I walked her over to Elise , and we walked home never losing my grip on the reins. Well, at least I learned to never let go of the reins.
Amazing Experience
“I have traveled 201 countries and the strangest thing I saw was man.” This is a quote by Robert Ripley, the founder of Ripley’s Believe It or Not.This year I think our class of 2021 should take a field trip to Ripley’s Believe It or Not. I’m suggesting this place because it’s entertaining and informational.
Just think about all the exciting things you could do at Ripley’s! As soon as you get there you must go to the Mirror Maze. The Mirror Maze is AWESOME! When you go to the Mirror Maze bring a friend, so you can watch them run into mirrors. Or consider the haunted house for a good scare. For some reason, some people are too scared to walk through it. Perhaps you’re more into physical stuff, for that they have a Laser Maze challenge. The Laser Maze challenge where you have to dodge lasers while moving quickly.
My next reason is it gives you information. When you first walk in there’s a Wax Museum. The museum gives you information of the past. Then there’s a tour of weird artifacts.Usually the small rooms are full so you might have to wait. Finally, there’s the theater. The theater plays mini informational movies. One time I was in there and a biography of the tallest man came on.
I think if our class of 2021 took this trip it would benefit us in two way. The students would enjoy themselves but also learn a lot. I recommend this trip because it would be a amusing and informational experience.

Deadly Text
He texted,
I replied.
I put on my hoodie,
and my boots.
Prepared,
I walked outside.
But before I could even blink.
BAM!
A big snowball hit me right in the face.
I looked around,
and there he was.
My evil grandpa,
standing right in front of me.
With his old man grin,
in his old man glasses.
I slowly scooted away from him,
moving towards a pile of snow.
I quickly grabbed some snow,
making it form a ball.
I threw it at him,
as it hit him he just stared at me.
When I saw him just staring,
I knew
i was a goner.
Important To Me
“Grandmothers are like books, they hold memories and wisdom”-Unknown. This is a quote my grandma would love and probably agree with. The person I admire most is my grandma, she’s encouraging and she is like my second mom.
She is always encouraging me to try harder and work harder. Sometimes I go to her house, she makes me play my French Horn for her. As soon as I come home and had a bad day at school, she always says, “It will get better”. Of course my grandma always makes me try harder in school, It’s important to try harder in school so you can get into a nice college.
My grandma has always been like my second mom. When my brother gets annoying she lets me stay with her to get away from him. However my grandma likes listening to my crazy stories and dreams. To be a good listener you must find something you might like in their story. Somehow my grandma manages to cook me and my grandpa mouth watering food.
Spend time with the ones you love the most. Mostly I admire my grandma for being like my second and being encouraging.
